**Support and Guidance Assistant for Learners**
Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their ALS team as a Support and Guidance Assistant for Learners. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting learners in developing study skills and promoting independence.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient, and possess a professional attitude. You will work closely with high needs EHCP learners in early years and kickstart programs, as well as provide additional support in maths and English classes.
We are looking for someone who is qualified to or willing to work towards Level 2 English and Maths, with evidence of qualifications required.
The successful candidate will be based in Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus, and will have access to a range of benefits including generous pension schemes, holiday plans, and employee assistance programs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supporting learners in developing study skills and promoting independence
