Cinema Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Cinema Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the Box Office team to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient cinema operations. This is a challenging role that requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service at all times, responding promptly to customer queries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Work closely with the Cinema Manager and Assistant Cinema Manager to lead the Box Office team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and achieving performance targets.
- Event Management: Assist with private screening events, ensuring they run smoothly and to an excellent standard, coordinating with external clients and internal teams as required.
- Training and Development: Use your knowledge and experience to guide, support, and train other members of the Box Office team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a front-of-house supervisory role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
- Ticketing Software: Previous experience using ticketing software (Vista ideally), with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
- Cinema Equipment: Some experience working with cinema projection / AV hardware, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and customers.
Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
