Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Salary: £13,992 - £15,007 per annum.

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our specialist provision in Worcester. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with children, families, and professionals to provide a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes positive learning opportunities for all children with special needs up to the age of 5.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Attending to the day-to-day care of the playrooms, ensuring they remain attractive, safe, and clean.
  • Setting up and planning activities within the playrooms to cater to the needs of children.
  • Developing strong relationships with families and professionals linked to your Key Children.
  • Being a dedicated Key Person to a group of children, responsible for observing, assessing, and planning to support their development.
Requirements:
  • Able to approach parents with friendliness, listening skills, and a non-judgmental attitude.
  • Prepared to attend staff meetings and work closely with the team.
  • Qualified at NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent, or working towards attaining Level 3.
