Fitter and Technician

We are recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to work in a leading manufacturing organisation in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with top-of-the-range equipment, driving new projects, and collaborating with a friendly maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with us in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Fundamentally understand fault-finding principles using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, being flexible and adaptable as needed.
- Pursue further electrical qualifications, aiming for the 18th Edition standard.
- Hold a valid full UK driving license and be prepared for occasional travel.
- Must be commutable from areas like Rochdale, Oldham, Wigan, Blackburn, or Bury.
- Regular working hours are from 07:30am to 03:30pm.

Requirements:
- A minimum ONC/City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering and 18th IEE Wiring regulations certification.
- Substantial experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Demonstrated expertise in motor testing and diagnostics.
- Previous experience in managing and supervising a team, including contractors.
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, health and safety standards, and food safety protocols.
Salary and Benefits:
- The annual salary range for this position is £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
