Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our Cooplands bakery team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the bakery in the absence of the Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Lead and engage the team to promote sales, increase profitability, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist with food preparation, store cleanliness, and serving customers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Previous team leader or retail management experience, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage cash handling and stock procedures.

Working Hours

Our shift patterns run from 6.00am to 18.00pm, with flexibility to accommodate individual availability.
