Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Physiologist Specialist to join its cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in echocardiography and be able to communicate effectively at all levels in a multi-professional environment.

The successful applicant will work in close collaboration with the Principal Clinical Cardiac Physiologist and Cardiology Imaging Consultant to deliver high-quality cardiac physiology services to Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. They will be responsible for providing reports for echos undertaken, maintaining expertise in echocardiography, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • To provide high-quality echocardiography reports for patients undergoing echo tests.">
  • To develop and maintain expertise in echocardiography and other areas of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing.">
  • To work closely with the echo team and be qualified to British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) accreditation standard or equivalent.">
  • To contribute to the development of a high-quality service and participate in educational activities as needed.">

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.">
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in echocardiography, such as British Society of Echocardiography Accreditation or equivalent.">
  • Immediate or Advanced Life Support certification.">
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.">
