We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stroke Support Coordinator to join our team at NFP People. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing support and advice to stroke survivors and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
- Provide personalized information, advice, and support to help clients make informed lifestyle changes.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support service users and the delivery of the service.
- Be accountable for volunteers and have experience of recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
We are looking for a caring professional with experience in supporting people with disabilities. You should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of stroke survivors and their families, as well as experience in setting up and running support groups. You should also be able to demonstrate how you can meet the requirement of extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings.
