About the Role

As an Electrical and Mechanical Production Specialist at Affinity Water, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treatment centre in Iver. You will be responsible for completing electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment.

Your day will be filled with managing planned and reactive work, for which you will receive comprehensive training and the necessary tools to excel in your position. In addition to this, you will contribute significantly to local infrastructure projects and improvements on site, working closely with other stakeholders within the business and having the freedom to express your opinions.

You will also have the benefit of travelling from place to place using a company van, provided for your convenience. A full UK driving licence is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Complete routine maintenance schedules to ensure reliable and efficient operation of our sites, storage facilities, and pumping stations.
  • Manage planned and reactive work, utilizing the training and tools provided to you.
  • Contribute to local infrastructure projects and improvements on site, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A full electrical apprenticeship or relevant HNC qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 3. If your qualification was gained overseas, you will need to provide proof of its UK equivalent.
  • Experience working with industrial electrical equipment in a similar process-driven environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
Benefits
  • A salary total package up to £47,338.
  • Basic salary of £37,289, plus Flex Allowance of £4,537 (salary offered dependent on experience).
  • Additional Stand-by payment of £5,512 (separate payment on top of salary), paid 1 in 6 times.
  • Core hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 08:00am - 16:00pm; Friday, 08:00am - 15:30pm.
  • Remote/ independent/ onsite work arrangements.
  • Company-provided van for travel.
  • Uniform and fuel card.

Interview Process

The interview process will consist of three stages:

  • Video selection.
