A maths teacher is required by Teaching Personnel to work with students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs. The focus is on providing quality education to increase academic and vocational qualifications, as well as independent living skills.

Successful candidates will hold a PGCE, QTS, QTLS teaching qualification and demonstrate evidence of in-service training. They should be able to teach from Entry level 2 & 3, Functional Skills Level 1 & 2, and GCSEs in Maths and another subject. The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000, including a 7% statutory holiday pay contribution.

The job description includes:

  1. Developing short, medium, and long-term curriculum plans
  2. Participating in the review of student plans, including Statements and EHC plans, PEP and LAC reviews

This is a temporary position, but the option to become permanent may arise in the future.
