MUFG Bank, Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Financial Crimes Office for EMEA as a Sanctions Regulatory Change Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the Sanctions Control Framework across all jurisdictions within EMEA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of MUFG Bank's financial crimes risk appetite, policies, and standards through collaboration with Transformation and Technology partners, Country Compliance teams, Operations, and Business stakeholders.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on economic sanctions, particularly HMT, EU, and OFAC regulations.
  • Conduct continuous regulatory horizon scanning for sanctions and other restrictive economic measures.
  • Assess MUFG's sanctions control framework against applicable regulations to identify areas for potential improvement or enhancement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a central sanctions function.
  • A strong knowledge of banking and associated systems and controls for financial crime.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in policy management.
