The Royal Automobile Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in our fine dining restaurant and Cocktail Bar, Stirling's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
- Section Management: Ensure the effective running of your section and floor in the absence of Manager/Assistant Manager.
- Support to Management: Support Manager with daily operations, including staffing, table plans, lay-up, menu, and standards.
- Menu Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with all food and beverage menus, current promotions, and new products to enable you to serve and recommend to our members and guests.
- Order Management: Ensure that all orders are correctly billed.
- Team Collaboration: Internal collaboration with other teams to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
- Licensing Compliance: Comply and enforce the law in respect of the Licensing Act as applies to the Royal Automobile Club.
Requirements:
- Experience: Extensive previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment.
- Customer Service: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Leadership: Responsible for supervising the section waiters and commis waiters.
- Cocktail Knowledge: Knowledge of cocktails would be beneficial.
- Organizational Skills: Organized and capable of handling complex logistics.
- Food Hygiene: Basic food hygiene - level 1 & 2.
- Licensing Awareness: Awareness of Licensing laws.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
- Teamwork: Team player.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
