Compliance Officer - Housing Assets

As a key member of the Compliance Team at Hanover Housing Association Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's statutory and regulatory compliance with regards to its inspection and servicing programs for properties. Your responsibilities will include recording, monitoring, and actively seeking relevant records and certificates while working closely with contractors to ensure the business is 100% compliant and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage housing asset compliance programs to ensure Hanover maintains legal compliance with its statutory obligations.
  • Ensure the servicing programs are recorded and monitor compliance-related data, including electrical safety inspections, asbestos surveys, fire risk assessments, and legionella and water hygiene risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with all key stakeholders to deliver Hanover's safety compliance programs.
  • Provide a full range of administration services, including issuing letters to customers in relation to contractor's visits and tracking visits.
  • Notify relevant colleagues and tenants of forthcoming inspections and/or surveys.
  • Provide the necessary data for the Key Performance Indicators, ensuring this data is well maintained and always monitored and kept up to date.
