This permanent full-time position offers a salary of £30,000.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education to young children. They will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment that promotes independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Care and Education: Ensure children receive high-quality care and education that supports their personal development.
  2. Staff Supervision: Mentor and train staff members to achieve their full potential.
  3. Relationship Building: Establish positive relationships with parents, carers, and staff.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements.
  5. Progress Assessment: Monitor, record, and assess children's progress to inform future planning.
  6. Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of attendance, accidents, and safety checks.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks to children and develop strategies to minimize them.
  8. Procedures Development: Develop emergency and security procedures to ensure child safety.
  9. Hygiene Promotion: Promote good hygiene practices among staff and children.
  10. Curriculum Contribution: Work collaboratively to develop curriculum plans that meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

A Level 3 Childcare qualification is required for this role.
