Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at W P Recruitment & HR Ltd. as a Ro-Ro driver for our waste management operations on the Isle of Wight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily vehicle and plant checks, logging faults on the system and reporting defects to the workshop.
  • Collect and return containers to and from household waste recycling centres and waste treatment plants.
  • Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph.
  • Previous Ro-Ro experience is an advantage, but newly passed HGV drivers will also be considered.
  • Experience of the island's road network is preferred.
  • Must have a good understanding of health and safety and the ability to use computerized systems.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.03.
