About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing effective Functional Skills to maximise learner progress and achievement. Key responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing assessment, adopting inclusive strategies, assessing learners' work, and delivering good and outstanding teaching and learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require experience of teaching Functional Skills in challenging environments, planning, teaching, and assessment for progress, subject-specific and teaching qualifications, as well as a genuine commitment to improving the prospects of young people and adult learners. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are also essential.
