About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Evening Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 20 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaning Operatives, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning standards across various sites.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with experience in a similar role or as a cleaning operative. A flexible approach to working is essential, as you will be required to work varying shifts and respond to ad-hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
  2. Ensure surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
  3. Perform additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
  4. Empty and dispose of bin waste.
  5. Monitor and re-stock cleaning supplies.

  1. Will have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
  2. Enjoy working in a hands-on role.
  3. Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential.
  4. Will have a flexible approach to working.
