We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Children's Support Worker. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.
Key Responsibilities- Support children with daily routines, including personal care, and create a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive.
- Build positive relationships with children based on mutual respect, good parenting, and individualized care.
- Provide education and support to enable children to make informed choices about their care and develop independence skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs.
- Knowledge of relationships and their impact on children in care.
- Ability to work holistically and deliver care within the three key areas of skill: day-to-day care, relationship building, and education.
