BELCAN Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team in Warrington, working on a permanent basis for a leading client in the Gas industry.

Role:

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects within the Gas division, working closely with our subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor progress and performance of subcontractors, identifying and mitigating risks to deadlines and cost schedules.
  • Regularly review progress and approve risk management recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risks.
  • Drive internal and external teams to complete tasks within acceptance criteria, ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met.
  • Develop and support the current supply chain strategy to access the strongest network of subcontractors.
  • Manage technical, cost, schedule, and contract baselines, demonstrating commercial acumen.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in delivering projects with a Subcontractor/Supplier Network.
  • Authored detailed Request for Quotations for contractual scope of supply on Automation/Automotive projects.
  • Establish and manage cost, schedule, technical baselines, quality, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Able to demonstrate experience in Subcontract Management on major Projects.
  • Strong technical experience in Automation and Controls.
  • Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Able to communicate, negotiate, and influence effectively.
  • Full, clean UK driving license required.
