Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the Engineering & Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimum functioning of mechanical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Regular checks on machinery to ensure optimal operation
  • Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns
  • Identifying and resolving mechanical issues
  • Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Keeping detailed records of work performed and machinery status
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
