Job Summary:
Rullion is seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer to join their team at a leading Nuclear Generation company in Torness. The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying and evaluating nuclear power station spares, developing procurement specifications, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specifying and evaluating nuclear power station spares against original design and the upkeep of the Spares catalogue
- Developing procurement specifications, in conjunction with Technical Specialists and Purchasers
- Maintaining compliance with all required standards and arrangements applicable to the specification of plant spares
- Completing Item equivalency assessments to support changes to components
- Assisting in investigations to find spare part solutions, including parts searches and obsolescence resolution
- Carrying out Quality Assurance reviews prior to purchase of QA1/2 Spares, including development/reviewing of Quality plans
- Carrying out Quality Control inspections on key goods being supplied
- Advising the wider Purchasing and Warehouse teams to support smooth operation of the Supply Chain Materials processes
