About The Role

We're seeking a Fitness Manager to support the General Manager in the successful running of our Surbiton gym. As a key member of our team, you'll be passionate about fitness and keen to embed our company values. You'll lead our in-gym service offering, manage our team of fitness trainers, and drive commercial performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our member engagement by developing and implementing strategies to drive member satisfaction scores forward.
  • Line manage and lead our team of fitness trainers, ensuring they're motivated and empowered to deliver exceptional service.
  • Take ownership of our Group Exercise offering, developing the class timetable and upskilling our team to deliver.
  • Bring a result-driven mindset and keen interest in driving commercial performance, ensuring high operational standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance to company Health & Safety policies and complete daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
  • Support the GM with onsite admin tasks, including rotas, time tracking, and security checks.
  • Act as a keyholder for the gym, supporting the GM in emergencies.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A passion for health, fitness, well-being, and excellence.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower your team.
  • A proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or studying for the qualification.
