Job Title: Business Analyst

Join The Airedale Group, a leading provider of commercial kitchen design, installation, and maintenance services in the UK hospitality and food service industry. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our internal digital transformation projects and drive business process improvements.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing current quotation systems, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather user requirements. They will also develop detailed specifications for system enhancements, ensure integration with CRM, quoting, design, and finance systems, and work with vendors to implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current quotation systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document existing processes and workflows to understand pain points and inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Develop detailed specifications for system enhancements based on gathered requirements.
  • Ensure specifications align with business goals and user needs.
  • Review current finance systems and processes to identify integration opportunities.
  • Work with finance teams to understand their requirements for system improvements.
  • Ensure the new system integrates seamlessly with back-office finance processes for order processing and financial reporting.
  • Identify potential vendors and evaluate their solutions against the specifications.
  • Conduct vendor assessments, including cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Work with selected vendors to ensure successful implementation of the system.
  • Partner with the project manager to develop and execute project plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and budget.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the project team.
  • Support the implementation of the new quotation, CRM, and finance systems and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support.
  • Measure and report on the benefits realised from the new system, such as improved turnaround times, enhanced customer satisfaction, and streamlined financial processes.
Requirements:
  • Ideally Degree educated within a related field.
  • Minimum four years' experience within a Business Analyst role.
  • Industry experience within design and installation would be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with digital transformation projects and knowledge of current digital technologies and trends.
  • Experience with CRM, Quotation and Finance software would be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in working within an agile project management framework.
