Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

Our client is seeking a dynamic and diligent individual to work as a Service Technician in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will combine technical flair with excellent customer service skills to maintain equipment from the world's market leader in access solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Connect, commission, and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, network devices, EV charging, and other access control devices.
  2. Answer, acknowledge, and attend service, installation, and planned maintenance calls.
  3. Proactively provide feedback to improve first fix rates and reduce return visits.
  4. Provide accurate quotes to the Service team and identify chargeable calls.
  5. Access hardware and software repositories to follow the latest documentation and instruction manuals.
  6. Escalate technical issues to the Technical Services Team and work together to achieve resolution.
Requirements:
  1. A passion for IT/network technology.
  2. Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices, including flashing firmware, software configuration, part replacement/repair, and hand tool use.
  3. The ability to install/update hardware, software, and Windows operating systems.
  4. Knowledge of network infrastructure and TCP/IP.
  5. Knowledge of electrical principles and safety.
  6. A valid UK driving license.
  7. IT hardware and software maintenance.
  8. Application installation and firmware.
  9. Basic network technology knowledge.
  10. ANPR installation and maintenance.
  11. Field Service or commissioning experience.
