Facilities Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our Stockport office and providing remote guidance on the Basel office. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all maintenance issues are addressed promptly and efficiently, and that users of the office space have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage relationships with facilities providers, internal procurement, landlords, utility providers, catering, and other suppliers.
- Coordinate Health & Safety activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with company-wide events and introduce sustainability initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Audit monthly payroll input and coordinate the employee recognition award scheme.
- Coordinate learning needs identified during the annual performance review and arrange relevant training courses.
- Considerable facilities management experience, with a focus on maximizing existing office space and creating collaborative workspaces.
- Experience of multi-site facilities management and procurement contract negotiation with suppliers.
- Ability to manage budgets and identify cost-saving measures.
- Experience of managing Health & Safety in an office environment and for remote workers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to adapt quickly and alter priorities based on operational needs.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification.
