Experienced Marketing Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team at Oxford Gene Technology. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in helping us drive growth and awareness of our innovative genomics products.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation: Assist in the development of compelling and scientifically accurate content for various channels, including webpages, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Digital Marketing: Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including managing email marketing, social media accounts, updating the company website, and contributing to SEO and PPC strategies.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Brand Management: Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with OGT's brand guidelines and contribute to maintaining a consistent and professional brand image.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- A degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and accurate content tailored to various audiences.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and inform future strategies.
- Willingness to learn and take on new projects independently.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all marketing materials are of the highest quality and free of errors.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns, including social media management, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, CRM databases, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing software.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) would be an advantage.
