Job Title: Senior Microsoft Security Architect

Hawksworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and developing secure M365 environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in the secure design, implementation, and development of M365 environments.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure the security and availability of M365 applications.
  • Lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies in the firm.
  • Act as SME for Microsoft security suite with specialist responsibilities in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.
  • Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment for the firm.
Requirements:
  • Tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect in a blue-chip client.
  • Experience of a Cloud Adoption project.
  • Computer Science Bachelor's degree.
  • Good demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
  • Some AWS and/or Google cloud platforms.
  • Authoritative understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles such as VPN, segmentation, WAF, access control, CASB.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in IT/Cloyd security, Azure, M365 environments, and Microsoft Defender. If you have experience in AWS and/or Google cloud platforms, that's a plus. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Azure cloud technology and migration, and will be able to bring immediate benefit to our Azure cloud adoption.
