The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing and acquiring land for care and retirement home development, with a strong network of contacts in the land agency world.
As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sourcing off-market land opportunities for purchase in the care and retirement home space
- Developing and maintaining relationships with care home operators and developers
- Liaising and negotiating with landowners and agents of potential purchases
- Overseeing legal, planning, and design consultants pre- and post-acquisition
- Staying up-to-date with town planning policy and regulations in key areas
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in a property-related field
- A proven track record of completing 3-4 land deals per year
- Experience in land acquisition and development, with a focus on care and retirement homes
- A strong understanding of the planning application and appeals process
- A network of contacts in the land agency world
- The ability to work autonomously and independently
