About the Job

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team of professionals at Protocol Education. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to secondary students in East London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver fun and interactive English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' well-being and academic success.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their English skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching approach.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth learning experience.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in a diverse urban setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to establish a positive learning environment.
