Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Rotherham, working within the Primary Care Network (PCN) areas. As a key member of the primary care team, you will provide high-quality interventions in our new integrated mental health service.

The successful candidate will be an important part of the Primary Care Network Multi-Disciplinary Team, working closely with primary, secondary care, and VCSE colleagues. You will be responsible for providing specialist advice, supporting GPs, and facilitating onward access to secondary care-based services or third sector services.

The role requires strong clinical skills, including assessment, formulation, diagnoses, and treatment delivery. You will also be expected to participate in primary care practice level meetings, engage in effective clinical supervision, and apply patient-centered and recovery-focused approaches to assessment and treatment.

About the Role
  • Provide specialist advice and support to GPs and primary care teams.

Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse or registered allied professional (OT/Social work).
  • Independent non-medical prescriber qualification, if suitable.
