Dairy Enterprise Herdsperson

LKL Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Dairy Enterprise Herdsperson to join our team on a dairy enterprise in the north area of the East Midlands.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Milking (through a 24:48 with backing gate)
  • Foot trimming
  • Herd health & fertility
  • Grazing management
  • General stock husbandry tasks
  • Sharing the day-to-day running of the herd

About the Role:

We are looking for a flexible and positive attitude, team player experience in a similar role, foot trimming experience/certificate, and ability to lead the team when necessary. Attitude and willingness to learn is essential, training will be offered to the right person for essential skills. There is an emphasis on continuous personal development and active involvement in a number of dairy discussion groups is encouraged.
