Teaching Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our team in Walton-on-Thames area.

About the Role:

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons to Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5
• Plan and implement a creative curriculum that fosters curiosity and critical thinking
• Develop students' historical knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of diverse perspectives
• Support students in preparing for assessments, GCSEs, and exams
• Participate in extracurricular activities and field trips, enriching students' learning experiences outside the classroom
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum and integrate cross-departmental projects

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a UK-recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) in History or a related field
• Have a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment standards
• Be committed to promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Show enthusiasm for creating memorable learning experiences and motivating students
