Job Summary
Alexander James Recruiting is working with a leading material handling manufacturer to recruit an Apprentice Forklift Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the industry and gain hands-on experience in forklift maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
- Develop knowledge and skills in diesel, gas, and electric forklifts, including maintenance procedures
- Attend college and participate in on-the-job training programs
- Complete coursework and company training programs
- Provide regular progress updates to management
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold an English and Maths GCSE at level 9-4 (A -C equivalent) and possess a full UK driving license. A strong desire to learn and develop a career in the industry is essential.
