Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Professional to join our team at Scotframe, covering the North of Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of timber frame construction or construction methods in general and be able to communicate technical aspects effectively to customers.

The role involves proactively generating sales opportunities across our self-build customer base, visiting customers, taking briefs from initial concept to final design, and providing technical support to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify business opportunities and promote our products.
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and provide technical support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
