Education Support Position

We are seeking an experienced support assistant to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. The successful candidate will work with a 12-year-old girl who requires support due to ASD, ADHD, and separation anxiety disorder.

About the Job:
  • Provide one-to-one support to the child in various settings, including the home and community.
  • Foster the child's independence and confidence by teaching practical daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the child receives a comprehensive support package.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the child with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation.
  2. Encourage the child to participate in enjoyable activities, such as gaming, trampolining, swimming, and shopping trips.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to promote the child's emotional well-being and reduce challenging behavior.
Requirements and Benefits:

  • Ability to adapt to individual needs and requirements.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including afternoons and occasional evenings.
Compensation and Working Hours:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.09 and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a young person's life.

Term-time only, 10 hours per week, split into 2-3 sessions, 38 weeks per year.
