Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Practitioner to join our First Episode Psychosis Service and developing At Risk Mental State service.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused treatment and support to individuals with a First Episode Psychosis disorder.

The role will involve working with service users, their carers, and a range of system partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Main Duties
  • Provide and oversee the management and care of service users.
  • Produce accurate and timely documentation and maintain records in line with professional Code of Conduct and Trust policy.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and formulate personalized care plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the service user's environment.
  • Act as a Care Co-ordinator and provide education and support to develop service users' understanding of mental illness.
  • Undertake carers assessments and Mental Health Nursing Needs Assessments.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Evidence of professional registration.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Experience working within a First Episode Psychosis Service.
