About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers Volkswagen Newcastle. As a key member of our workshop, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Carry out vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Perform any additional repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Warranty repairs will be carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, with relevant write-up completed
  • Take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

  • Prior experience working within a workshop
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work to the highest standards
  • Full UK driving license
  • Completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • MOT license would be a bonus
