Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Owen Daniels Consultancy. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience in financial analysis and accounting, with advanced Excel knowledge and be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse company financial statements, preparing reports and making recommendations to management
  • Ensure financial business processes comply with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Generate, forecast and analyse trends in sales, finance and other areas of business to assist in financial planning
  • Participate in the monthly close process by generating various journal entries, preparing required reconciliations, and analytically reviewing specific general ledger accounts for accuracy and proper valuation
  • Prepare monthly forecast and bridge analysis for the P&L

Requirements:
  • Strong experience working in a similar role
  • Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA)
  • Previously worked within the manufacturing sector
