Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Caretaker to join our team in Kettering, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks including caretaking duties, security procedures, and health and safety checks. They will also be required to work on a shift pattern with early starts and late finishes, leading and motivating teams, and managing facilities contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Caretaking duties including DIY tasks
  • Securing the site and opening/closing procedures
  • Key holder responsibilities
  • Conducting Health and Safety checks
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for intruder and fire alarm incidents
  • Leading and motivating teams in accordance with HR policies
  • Owning the facilities plan, maintenance, and upkeep of grounds and buildings
  • Managing facilities contracts
  • Conducting regular site tours and ensuring adequate team resources
  • Serving as the Fire Marshall
