About the Role


We are seeking a highly adaptable and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Baston House School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and care of young people with autism.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering educational programs and activities
  • Assist with the supervision of pupils during indoor and outdoor activities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting community cohesion and well-being

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant and working with pupils with autism is highly desirable.
