Vetter is recruiting for a Section Engineer to work on complex infrastructure projects.

Job Grade 3

This role will be based on large-scale construction projects and involve extensive collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of designs, planning and costing
  • Drafting scopes under NRSWA for the mitigation, which include coordination of subcontractors and agreeing the works
  • Coordination of site and construction works, in regard to logistic and programme planning
  • Provide accurate dimensional control, and check that established by others, to enable the works to be constructed to the required tolerances as defined by the Contract / design documents
  • Assist site foremen and managers in supervising site operatives and sub-contractors ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with design drawings, specifications and standards as defined by the contract documents
  • Produce method statements and risk assessments to be approved by supervising engineers / managers and ensure that site operations take place in accordance with documents which detail safe systems of work

Requirements;

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
  • Hard landscaping experience
  • Precast experience
