The Royal Horseguards Hotel is a prestigious 5-star hotel located in the heart of London, offering exceptional meeting and events facilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster M&E Groups Team Leader to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Meeting and Events Sales Executives, promoting the hotel's meeting and events facilities to prospective clients, and overseeing all contact for coordinating their events. This is a customer-facing role, requiring excellent interpersonal skills and a drive to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for great service, be comfortable in a front-line role, and be able to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of both M&E and Group business, as well as commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Meeting and Events Sales Executives
  • Promote the hotel's meeting and events facilities to prospective clients
  • Oversee all contact for coordinating events
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Have a strong understanding of both M&E and Group business
  • Have commercial awareness

Requirements:

  • Highly Guest Focussed with a passion for great service
  • Comfortable in a front-line role facing the public
  • Empathetic and able to build relationships
  • Multi-skilled with an understanding of both M&E and Group business
  • An open personality who is relaxed and natural in their interactions
  • Accurate with good attention to detail
  • Able to create a positive first impression and be an ambassador for the brand and Clermont Hotel Group
  • Can demonstrate commercial awareness within the context of their role
