Overview

In this Sales Trainee role at BMS Performance, you will be working in a dynamic sales team. You will represent our full range of brick and masonry products. Initially, you will shadow experienced sales team members on client meetings, developing your product knowledge and understanding of the construction industry. In the first 12 months, you will learn all aspects of the business, with lots of opportunities to progress towards targeting architects, building contractors, property developers, and house builders.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with customers and suppliers, communicating effectively and promptly.
  • Prepare and send quotes and sales information to customers, meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Arrange samples for projects, maintaining stocks and showroom facilities.
  • Provide administration support to the external sales team, using our project HUB.
  • Organize databases for mailshots and support company marketing activities.
  • Meet company expectations regarding target income, company procedures, and KPIs.
  • Embrace training development on sales and product knowledge.
  • Other duties as deemed by the directors for the benefit of the team.
