Job Duties:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to Key Stage 1 students, promoting academic excellence and social development.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students, teachers, and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance educational outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and educational research.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 students, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and abilities.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, providing a strong foundation for teaching and learning.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a KS1 Class Teacher, with a proven track record of success and student achievement.
Knowledge and Skills:- Strong classroom management skills, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, catering to their individual learning styles and abilities.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or safeguarding, enhancing expertise and confidence in supporting students with diverse needs.
The role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment, ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning.
