Job Description

Senior Data Scientist - A Key Role in Our AI and Machine Learning Function

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our newly formed AI and Machine Learning function at Granite Consulting. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in helping us to demonstrate the value and possibilities that AI and Machine Learning can bring to our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understanding Data Availability - You will be responsible for identifying and understanding the data available to us, and determining the best approach to utilize this data in our AI and Machine Learning initiatives.
  2. Choosing the Right Approach and Technology - You will need to decide on the best approach and Machine Learning technology to use in our projects, and be able to create and implement robust models.
  3. Developing and Implementing Machine Learning Models - You will be responsible for creating and implementing Machine Learning models that meet our business needs, and will need to be able to demonstrate the value and possibilities of these models.
  4. Less Focus on Deployment and Monitoring - While experience with deployment and monitoring is a bonus, your primary focus will be on developing and implementing Machine Learning models.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Machine Learning and AI - You will need to have experience working with Machine Learning and AI technologies, and be able to apply this experience to our business.
  • Strong Technical Skills - You will need to have strong technical skills, including programming languages such as Python and R, and experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - You will need to be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
