About the Opportunity

This role presents a chance to work with a highly successful Technology-first business, as a Principal Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the company. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in building production-grade solutions and a strong background in Object-Oriented programming, with proficiency in languages such as Java, C#, C++, Go, and Python.

The team delivers event-focused software to enhance the performance and execution of IoT technology, and the successful candidate will be able to contribute their skills and expertise to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom software solutions that meet the defined software architecture.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A third-level qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on Object-Oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
