We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Vascular Surgery to join our team at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. As a key member of our vascular service, you will contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based vascular and endovascular services across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the highest clinical standards in the care of patients with vascular problems.
- Provide out-patient and in-patient care for patients with vascular problems.
- Share with colleagues the provision of vascular advice to medical and surgical inpatients.
- Work with colleagues to improve and advance the service.
- Share with colleagues the responsibility for the management of the Department.
- Share with colleagues the responsibility for teaching and training of trainees, junior medical staff, nursing staff, primary care colleagues and medical students.
- Participate actively in Clinical Audit and Clinical Governance work to ensure continual improvements in the quality and safety of care.
- Participate in the recruitment of patients to clinical trials.
- Maintain and further personal learning through generic Trust training and Specialty Specific training (CPD).
- FRCS or equivalent qualification.
- Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Up to date and fit to practise safely.
