Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Support Professional to join our team at Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with audit and other statutory duties where required.

Main Duties
Your primary responsibilities will include creating new supplier and customer accounts, conducting credit assessments, processing purchase invoices, arranging approval of invoices for payment, reconciling supplier statements, and highlighting incorrect invoices. You will also be responsible for dealing with telephone and email queries from suppliers and customers, processing sterling and foreign payment runs mid-month and month-end, handling customer queries and debt collection, and supporting the management accounts team with month-end duties and processes.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate will possess confidence and professionalism in responding to inbound calls and emails, attention to detail regarding data entry and accuracy, intermediate level proficiency in Excel, and ability to use initiative and apply problem-solving skills. Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills are also essential.
