About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck eConsultant to join our team at Riverside Resourcing and Consultancy. As a key member of our commercial vehicle sales team, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers in their transition to eMobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide eConsultancy support and guidance to customers and internal colleagues to support the entire eTruck and charging infrastructure sales process.
  • Collaborate with customers, DTUK's Future Sustainability Team, and charging partners to collect charging relevant customer data, conduct route, depot, and electricity grid analysis, and define a charging infrastructure recommendation.
  • Report eConsulting prospecting project status to the Rygor Auto Head of Truck on a weekly basis.
  • Presentation and technical explanation of the Mercedes-Benz and Fuso Trucks zero-emission strategy, products, and other relevant services to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Preparation and presentation of the customer eConsulting result report, including route analysis, financial analysis, depot analysis, and next steps to recommend a comprehensive electrification plan.
  • Responsible for the detailed handover of trucks to all Rygor Auto customers requiring driver training, ensuring all product benefits are understood and can be fully utilized.
  • Work with the Head of Truck Sales, Sales Consultants, and DTUK eSales Development Managers to assist in the development of eTruck business plans and conquest strategies.
  • Implement and lead expert customer talks to feedback and work closely with DTUK stakeholders to promote continuous innovation of the eConsulting process.
  • Lead expert eTruck talks and presentations at Rygor Auto eMobility events to promote Mercedes-Benz and Fuso eTrucks and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with charging infrastructure partners, energy companies, and hydrogen refueling providers to optimize the scope of any customer offer.
  • Work with Sales Consultants to implement both new diesel and new zero-emission vehicles in the customer fleet, optimizing the connectivity/services package to provide the best operational flexibility and efficiency for the customer.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in automotive, engineering, or business administration or equivalent educational status.
  • Exemplary knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Heavy Goods Vehicle license holder (C+E) advantageous.
  • Sales process experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
  • Genuine demonstrable interest in electric vehicles, the eMobility ecosystem, charging infrastructure, and sustainability.
  • Ability to identify, exploit, and explain product strengths in a market environment.
  • Strong customer orientation with a high collaborative approach.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the business.
  • Proven presentation skills with the ability to present in public.
  • Ability to think at a strategic and tactical level.
  • Ability to coordinate with partners to discuss charging infrastructure and conduct depot analysis.
  • Highly effective team player.
