Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Quantity Surveyor - High End Fit Out / Interiors & Exterior Stone, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  4. Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  5. Prepare and submit financial reports to stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and senior management.
  6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the high end fit out, tiling, or interior and exterior stone market sectors.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
