We are seeking a Support Worker to support a male with autism, a learning disability and epilepsy. He enjoys activities such as swimming, baking, and bowling and has a good sense of humour. However, he can display behaviours that challenge and signs of anxiety and distress.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support with daily living tasks
- Promote independence and support with health appointments
- Encourage engagement in activities
Requirements
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support, LD, autism and behaviours that challenge
- Enthusiasm to learn and experience new things
- Ability to go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package

- Competitive hourly rate of £13.50 per hour (Enhanced hourly rate on all Bank Holidays)
